Akshara

'Akshara' is a poetic composition which captures dancing with the Odia alphabets in a mood of gaiety, both as dalliance and also as a homage to this rich and ancient language. It begins with the rituals of commencement of writing in any Odia village by drawing three ircles on the dry mud with lime sticks. Those initial shapes and shadows of roundness denote the genesis of Odia alphabets and carve out in our minds the formless forms of our Gods and Eternity.
